Footer link to table

I am using Word 97, and would like to have a footer entry
that is the same as the data in a table entry. So, if I
type "Microsoft Word" in this particular table entry, I
would then like that reflected in my footer.
Can you help please?

If you bookmark the text, you can insert a cross-reference in the footer. Or
you can use a specific style (it can be a character style) for the entry and
pick it up with a StyleRef field.
