Footers in all Office documents

Wondering if there is a way to configure each office program (Word, Excel,
etc...) to automatically insert a footer with certain information rather than
have to do it in each document or form. Example: have any document cerated
or existing in Word automatically show the date and path in a footer without
having to format a footer in each, individual document.

You should be able to do it using "templates." I Word and I believe
Excel you can define it in the default template so each new document you
create will have it by default.
