Footers on all pages?

I need to find out how to have the footer repeat on all the pages but the
header to be on only the first page.

Use Different First page, and then duplicate the footer that is on the
first page onto the second page.

Might be a good idea to mention which program you want to do this in and
what version of it you're using.
