Footers

I use an automatic feature that places the file name as a
footer at the bottom left of my Word documents. This is
not working any longer, none of my file names will change
when I resave an older document.

any ideas????????

You have to update them explicitly. See "The FILENAME field does not
automatically update when you open a document in Word 2002 or Word 2003" at
