footersize max 255 chars

I need a footer text from over 255 characters which is not allowed.
How can I overcome this problem?

Hi Roland,

I'm assuming you're referring to a footnote rather
than text you use from View=>Header/Footer in Word?
You may want to post this in the MS Word PageLayout
newsgroup (link below) and include both the version
of Word you're using and specific need you're
trying to achieve in this instance.
