I was trying to customize my toolbar, and somehow dragged "footnote..." and "document elements" off the "Insert" menu option and put them on my toolbar. I decided I didn't want those on my toolbar anymore, so I dragged them off the screen. Now they have disappeared!! Under the Insert menu, I no longer have the "footnote..." option or the "document elements". I have tried resetting the toolbar, but they have not reappeared. HELP! How do I get them back?

Thanks for your help!

Go back to Tools> Customize Toolbars & Menus [where you "did the damage" in
the first place :)] to restore the commands.

If you have no menu customization to preserve: On the Toolbars and Menus
page click the *name* of the Menu Bar, then hit the Reset button.
Alternatively, select the category called Built-In Menus then replace the
Insert menu on the Application Menu Bar with a fresh copy.

If you've made menu customizations you want to retain: As above, but on the
Commands page select the Insert category and drag each of the commands you
deleted from the Commands List to their proper home in the Insert menu of
the Application Menu Bar.
