for email my mobile phone wants my mailbox name?

To receive email on my mobile phone, part of the set-up asks for my mailbox
name.
Where can I find the mailbox name and is it specific to my Internet Service
Provider?

How is this in any way related to Outlook?

Often, if you have email enabled wireless service, you wireless company
supplies the mailbox. If you have a Windows Mobile Smart Phone, then it can
sync (using ActiveSync from Microsoft) with Outlook.
