In MS Access 2000, I believe I used to
be able to do this using SHIFT+M,
followed by double-clicking on the MDB.
That doesn't seem to work for MS
Access 2003. The MDB was created
using MS Access 2000.
In the future, you'll have a better chance at getting good answers if you
put your complete question in the body of the post. Your Subject was
truncated by the combination of newsserver and newsreader that I use. But,
you don't open a database in Design View; you open the Database, and then
you open Objects in the Database in Normal or Design View.
If the function has not been bypassed in the particular database, you can
avoid executing an AutoExec Macro or Startup Form-and-Code by holding down
the Shift key when you open the Database. That will display the Database
window, from which you can try to open the objects in Design View.
If security has been applied and you don't have appropriate permissions on
the Object, you still won't be able to get to Design View.
