For some reason, Office Word, Excel, Publisher, have gone!

It all started when I couldn't download the SP2. Now I have managed to loose
Microsoft Excel, Publisher, Word, etc.

Can anybody offer me any assistance please? I haven't got a clue what I
have done, I did try the System restore, several times but that has only made
matters worse.

I can see all my documents and files but I can't access them because a pop
up says, Windows Installer - preparing to install and then nothing!

When I try to repair the Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003 on the
Add or Remove Programs a pop up says - This patch package could not be
opened. Verify that the patch package exists & that you can access it, or
contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows
Installer patch package.

Apart from all that, I can use my emails, internet and see my photographs.
Not exactly what I need though when I need Word, Excel & Publisher.

Please help!!!!!

Put your MS Office CD into your drive. "Run" Find the "Setup" icon on the CD
and double-click it. The initialising window opens and you are finally given
3 x choices. Select "Repair" (the middle option) a fresh window arrears and
you select the "Restore or Repair" choice. This will run and finally tell you
that the process has successfully done its job.
Re-boot
Go to Windows Update and you should find that SP2 downloads and loads okay.

I Ran the Clean Up Utility and then I tried to re-install/ When I put the
disk in, it came up as 'office11 (E'. I tried to run & install 'owc11'
which installed ok but the owc10 said that 'the installer source for this
product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can
access it.

Is there anything else that might help ? Please? When I try to open an
Excel File, the Excel Program does not come up as an option to open the file.
If that is any help.

Thanks for that but I ran the disk, found a set up icon and double clicked
it.. The Initialising window opened and then I had the error - The installer
source for this produc tis not available. Verify that the source exists and
that you ca access it.
