Force keys to print what they appear to be

< > These symbols appear on my keys and should be accessible by using
Shift+, and Shift+. Instead I get single and double closing quote
marks. Can't find how to change this. Help greatly appreciated. Same problem
in Word and Excel

The software for your keyboard should have the facility to change settings.
Have you looked in there?
