After adding lines to a spreadsheet, and trying to save sheet, EXCEL closes
with the normal "Error Report" to Microsoft. A SAVE sometimes works but the
very next add, it will shut-down???? Help?

How big is your file?
In Explorer, right click on the file name, and then click on Properties

The file is 131KB (fairly small). It contains (3) small worksheets.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Does this happen in a specific file only, or in any file? If in a specific
file, do you have macro's in that file? Being fairly small, as you so
rightly put it, have you tried to recreate it? If in any file, maybe you
should try and reload, or at least repair Excel.

I have only had the problem in this one file, with NO macros. The most
unusual thing is the THREE sheets, and I move things from one to another. I
have not tried to recreate. I do an occasional spreadsheet, but not a lot,
so it might happen in other files? I have considered reloading EXCEL, but I
keep up on updates and that might be time consuming. It might be the only
solution?
Thanks!

I would do that in a heartbeat, but it is some VERY confidential info.
Login's passwords, key words. Plus some other stuff. SORRY! I really
appreciate someone trying to help. I have been doing EXCEL for decades and
never had such a problem. This is EXCEL 2000, part of Office 2000
Professional, so it's not a new product. I have actually been updating this
file for years (saving generations), and all of a sudden this version of the
file bombs???
