Forgetting to attach an attachment...

J

Jay Gustafson

Hello,

Is there some type of code, that if my subject line reads, "Dog" that I will not be able to send that attachment unless it contains an attachment?

At times I forget to send out an attachment along with that e-mail, so if I could have something in place that would warn me, or stop me, it would be great.

Thanks,
Jay

Um, try saving it first before sending? Do you really expect a software
program to replace brain cells? This is not a facetious question. We see
requests all the time to filter mail with no subject, have Outlook remind me
to insert attachments, etc. How would you expect a program to do this and
leave out the oh-so-lamented code bloat that folks so like to complain
about?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Jay Gustafson

See http://www.outlookcode.com/codedetail.aspx?id=126 for an example of such
code. If you're new to Outlook VBA macros, these web pages should help you
get started:
