forgotten password to log into System

My brother in law has forgotten his log in password.
I believe he has Windows XP. He is ready to scream.

I don't think we can help you here.. you'll need one of the windows xp
newsgroups or search google. But... I think he's up the crick unless he made
a password recovery disk.
