Form Controls - (missing Control tab)

I am using Excel 97. I want to create one of several form
controls that reference several cells. In particular, list
box, combo box and combination list edit box, combination
drop down edit box.

While at another company I created these things with no
problem. Currently though, when I bring up the Format
Object Dialog Box, - there is no "Control" tab. This is
where I usually assign the input range, cell link and drom
down lines.

The only tabs that come-up are: Size, Protection, and
Properties.

Any thoughts?

Are you using the Control Toolbox? If so, you should be able to do what you
want in Design mode.
