Form>"Delete" button question

I made a "delete record" button but would like add a "confirm delete" pop-up
box to reduce accidental deletions of records? Please help with code or
embedded macro. Thanks.

You could do something in VBA code behind the button

If MsgBox("Confirm delete", vbYesNo) = vbYes Then
'add delete code
Else
Exit Sub
End If

ok I have the code below copied. do I have to add a delete code? Cause when I
click the button yes the box disapears and nothing happens.
