Form Info To Update Table

Hi,

How do I update a table with information collected from a form that i
opened via a report?

Open report --> open form --> collect weight from end user --> updat
weight field in table.

When I enter the weight directly into the form, table updates. Bu
table does NOT update if I when the form is opened by running th
report.

Any direction is much appreciated.

Diana,

I can't quite understand the concept of "the form is opened by running
the report". But just to clarify the main problem... Do you mean this
is the same form, with the same record source, opened at the same
record, and in one instance data entered via the form is saved, and in
another instance data entered via the form is not saved?
