Form Maximized but changes

Hi,

I have a form that is maximized. On this form I have a command button which
open another maximized form. When clicking on the button my current form
becomes less than maximized and then the new form opens. When I close the
new form my first form appears, less than maximized, and then it becomes
maximized. This causes a flashing appearance when the forms open and close.
Is there a way to prevent this?
