Form Name Misspelled or Refers to a form that does not exist

I have Access 2003, on XP. I have starting getting a recurring error on my
new database. I have deleted two forms. I not get an error as though
something is looking for them and cannot find them. Errors just pop-up over
and over. This is a new database structure, and I don't mind losing all my
data - I don't have any production data -- but would love to repair the
problem and not have to start over. For instance, while working on an
existing forms these errors pop-up out of the blue -- I deleted those forms
(what is looking for them).

Any help appreciated. I have tried the msaccess.exe /decompile, and the
compact and repair -- it didn't help.

I'd suggest that you also turn off Name Autocorrect. This sounds like
one of the (MANY!) bugs in that part of the software.

You may need to also create a new, empty database; turn off Track Name
Autocorrect in Tools... Options; and import everything from this
database.

I will try to import into a new database. I tried turning off the auto
correct - and that didn't help either.

Thanks for your reply.

I am in the same boat and dead in the water. I would like to know if
creating a new database and importing the objects of the old worked for you?

There are two offending forms and they appear in the project browser but the
option to delete them is greyed out. This must mean something to somebody
out there. Using MS Office 2003 Professional, SP2 and an unholy number of
udpates.

Thanks
