Form restores after maximized report.

I have an older database, newly converted to Access 2003 where there is one
form with a problem.

I keep all forms and reports maximized because information accumulates from
form to form, getting down to to some minute details. That way users won't
go back to an ealier open form and make a change which doesn't carry
forward.
So far no proplem.

On one of these forms there is a report. A selection on the form is made
while it is still maximized, and when the report opens it is maximized, but
when the report closes the form that called it is now in restore size, so
can be moved aound to see what other forms are open. I have tried every
event I can think of which might stop the form behind from restoring instead
of staying maximized. I have added docmd.maximize everywhere, tried
changing the border properties and so on. Yet this is the only form/report
in the entire database I have this problem with, and nothing seems different
form other forms opening reports maximized then going back to maximized
forms.

Any ideas on what I might have missed?
