Form results email comes from my personal email address

I'm not sure if this is a programming problem, client problem, or host
problem.

I'm using FP to insert a form, and I've configured it to both save the
results to a file and to send an email with the results. FP always
tells me my server isn't configured to send emails and asks me if I want
to remove the email recipient, but I say no, publish the site, and when
I submit the form it does, indeed, send an email.

So far, so good. The rub here is the email, while it goes where it's
supposed to go, shows up from my personal email address, which isn't
anywhere in the site (not only not on the page in question, but
anywhere). My host has my email address, of course, and I'm wondering
if a) somehow the FP extensions are grabbing and using it, and b)
whether there's anything I can do to use a different email address as
the sender, namely one of the email account I've set up with my host.

Thanks,

FP forms are always sent from the Server (not directly from your email box on the server) using the default server SMTP address set
by your host (you can ask them to change it)

Well, I was able to change the address. Unfortunately, my host only
allows one per account, at least I can change it.

Thanks for the advice.
