Form SetValue

Hi,
I have a Form (frmUpdate) and SubForm (subfrmTransfer). I need to record the
value of ([frmUpdate]![cmbAreaNo]) BeforeUpdate and transfer to
([subfrmTransfer]![txtTrnsferFrom]).
I suspect SetValue, but how and for succesive records.
