Form won't email results...?

Howdy,

I just created a form in FP2003 that is to collect mailing addresses.

When I save the page, I get an error that says "The form cannot be
configured to send results via email." It goes on to say that the
server might not have the extensions installed etc.

I do have the extensions installed on this box, and the web resides at
http://www.localhost

Why might I be getting that error?

Do I have to do something with the setup of the extensions to "tell
them" that I am using localhost?

Thanks,

I should add:

After the error appears, it asks if I want to remove the email
designation. I click "no" reasoning that even though the form might
not work on my system, I do want it to send the emails when I publish
the form to my web host server. Is that the proper reasoning?

Thanks,

It's because you don't have the smtp server enabled on your local machine.
It will "normally" work when published.

As for your second post, you are correct to click No when prompted to remove the email
address.
