Format bar colors in Calander view

I am trying to make a simple calendar that shows how multiple on-going
projects overlap over the next few months. I have them set up at a very high
level to give visibility on the calendar ie: Project 1- June 1st- July 27,
Project 2- July 1st-August 15th, etc. I have also added some milestones for
key events w/in each project. The projects are grouped by customer and I was
wondering if there was a way I could format it so that the bars were
different colors depending on the type of project (customer).

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Andy,

The formatting in the Calendar view is *very* limited with only options
to change the Bar Styles for Critical, Noncritical, Milestones, Summary,
Project Summary, Market, Highlighted, and External Tasks.

If the Gantt Chart view is a possibility, the options for formatting
bars is much more complete. See FAQ #31 "Customizing Task Bars" for
some ideas about changing the formatting of specific bars using Flag
fields at:
