Format Cells to include formula data?

Example:
Format>Cells>Custom>
A0101 - ###########
A0201 - ###########
A0301 - ###########
etc
I have to repeat this for every column to make Excel use this format for 100
columns.

Is there a way to tell it to look up a1 b1 c1 d1 where the column title is?

You can do it for one column, seclect the next and the use Ctrl + Y to
repeat it. Repeat as needed. Or you can select all applicable columns at one
time.
