Is there a way to change the way a particular field displays information?

Specifically, i want to change the way certain costs are displayed.
For a million dollar cost, I don’t want this: $1,000,000.00
Instead, I’d like a shorter version, ideally like this: $1,000k
or even just get rid of the cents, like $1,000,000

Second:
Is there a way to get duration to show up as days or weeks, not hours.
certain field show it one way, some show it another way. if i go to
Options/Schedule/Scheduling options I can control DURATION and WORK but that
only controls the rolled up line (for duration anyway). Is there a better way
or one that works to control the individual items (tasks say) for DURATION?

Hello Michael,

To drop the 2 digits to the right of the decimal point for money, see
the View tab in the Tools > Options dialog box.

To re-format durations see Tools > Macro > Macros and run the
Format_Duration macro.
