Format of Contacts

Could someone kindly advise me how to change the Format of
the Contact Names as they appear when selecting names for
address a New E-mail in OUTLOOK 2000. I would prefer to
have the Names appear in "FIRST LAST" format instead of
the "LAST, FIRST' format as they currently appear I have
already changed the preference to "FIRST LAST" under TOOLSthe "FIRST LAST" format... However, this does not appear
to change the Format within the Select Names window.

Thanking you in advance . randy

By default names are sorted by "first name, last name". If you want to
change this to "last name, first name" do the following;

Go to Control Panel-> Mail-> E-mail Accounts-> View or change existing
directories or address books-> select Outlook Address Book-> Change.

At the bottom you can set the way the names are sorted.
