Format of selected Cell

Excel 2000 ... I wish to have any cell when selected (only
when selected) show a Fomatted Solid Pink Pattern.

Is it possible to set cell selection formatting this way?

See Chip Pearson's Rowliner addin for a way of doing this, but BEWARE, when you
use this kind of macro you effectively lose any undo capability.
