Format Painter Functionality in Project 2003

Does anyone know of a way to get the Format Painter button to "stick" so that
you can apply a select format to multiple cells as you can do with Excel. My
experience is that the "double-Click" function on the Fomat Painter button
does not work in Project 2003. I find that you can only paint one cell and
then you have to re-select Format Painter to do additional cells.

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

Never noticed that before! It doesn't work You can select the painter
and then click and drag over a number of cells.
