I have created a chart via MS Excel, copy the chart and
tried to use "paste special" to MS Word. I
selected "Picture (Enhanced Metafile). Check on the
picture format of the pasted image (under layout), there
is nothing being highlighted. Check on my colleage, the
picture is default with "In front of text". Tied
reinstalling the MS Office but problem still persist. Pls
help. Thks,

David,
One possibility...

Double click the picture; click the Layout tab; click Advanced..; finally,
click the Text Wrapping tab.

If the Top and Bottom box is highlighted, you may have selected Picture
rather than Picture (Enhanced Metafile) by mistake

The default wrapping style for Picture is Top and Bottom; it appears in the
Text Wrapping tab of the Advanced Layout dialog box but not in the Layout
tab of the Format Picture dialog box

Hi David,

What version of Word are you using? In later versions there
is a setting for the default insert/paste layout for graphics
in Tools=>Options=>Edit.

=====Hi Jon,

Thanks for the advice.
However it does not solve my problem.
Basically, when tried on another PC with the similiar configuration on both hardware and software, the other PC has no problem. The
default property when paste the graphic is "In front of Text" - under the "Format Picture" - "Layout". Have tried reinstall the
Office Application but it does not help.

Pelase advice. Thanks, >>
