Format Task Bar

Hi Everyone,

Not sure if this can be done but any help appreciated. I have a task that
lasts for 218 days with a contingency of 23 days (total 241 days). I would
like to show the 218/23 as different colours on the same task bar. I can
create two lines one of 218 and one of 23, change the colour on both and then
link them together, but ideally I'd like to have them on one line as I have a
number of tasks with splits in this way!

Much thanks in advance

Hi,

Create the two tasks as you describe with the combined task as a summary
task.
Use "Rollup bar to summary" on teh detail tasks, "hide Task Bar" on the
summary and Bar styles for rolled up tasks to achieve your result.

Sure, he's good, but is he "brilliant"?
This is a pretty basic question.

The simplicity of the question would not alter the basic fact of whether
he was or was not brilliant. It just means you can't infer it from that
response (it's a quiet morning and I've just come from a legal newsgroup
:) ).

Well, to try to solve the point: with my normal modesty, I think that many
years ago, at one point in time I could consider myself brilliant.
Now I'm a (rather) old man and just glad to be considered "good" :)
Thanks for the pointless and thus very amusing discussion!
