Format text in text box

I have a simple diagram constructed from text boxes and lines. This is
an example of how the text is currently set out:

6. Conclusions and
Future Directions

I want the second line of text to line up with the first, as it would
in a list. How do I do that in a text box? I'm sure this is very easy
- when you know how.

Thanks.
Kevin

I have various versions of Word on different machines, so save all
documents as 1997-2003.

Define a hanging indent; for example, you can drag the indent indicator
on the horizontal ruler. Of course, you'd have to delete the space
between the period and "Conclusions" and replace it with a tab.
