Powerpoint 2002 (from Office 2002 CD), Office XP small business (OEM),
XP home OS
Selecting Format Word Art or Format Auto Shape does not work all the
time. The window will not open completely, just the outlined border.
Powerpoint does not freeze up and I can close the offending window. But
trying again will not open it.
This is not consistent. Occasionally the commands will work fine, once.
Then if I try again on another text or shape, the command will not work.
Exit Powerpoint and start again and the command will work again, once.
Word Art and Autoshape works fine in MSPublisher and MSWord.
Have removed and installed Powerpoint from the CD again to no avail.
Have not yet done the service pack upgrade.
All of this worked fine until 2 months ago.
