Formats change when print emails

Outlook 2003 - Why would some emails print differently than others?
I'm using HTML formtted signature - Outlook as my mail editor
Ocassionally, when I reply or forward an email, fonts and colors change.
When I print sent emails the print is so tiny I can't read them.

Is there a solution to this?
