Formatted Hard Drive - Copy old files to new drive - OneNote 2007

I did a fresh install of Vista. I copied all the OneNote files in My
Documents, I also did a backup to my external drive. I now have a fresh
install and I don't know how to move all the files back. I can open
individual pages, but I don't know how to get it all back to the way it was
before. I have decent computer knowledge, but I don't use the program. It is
on my wife's computer for school. Please help. Thanks, Brian

Is this OneNote 2007? If so, you should do File -> Open Notebook (not
section) and then browse to the *folder* that contains your .one files. You
will have to do this once for eack notebook, but all of the sections (.one
files) that are within it will remain intact.

I am such a novice! I was looking for a file when trying to open folder, all
I had to do was choose open and select a "folder", it just kept letting me
drill down further. Whoops.

Great program, now I think I am hooked too.
