Formatting a cell for time

Maria

I have several thousand cells formatted for time as
hh:mm:ss AM/PM. In the cell, the time is only showing as
09:00:00. I can get the AM or PM to appear only be
entering the cell and pressing Return. Is there a quick
way for me to do this on all cells (i.e., by a range)?
Thanks!

The cells are formatted as hh:mm:ss AM/PM as this is the
format I need to convert this data with a program I'm
using. Because the text is already there, I have to enter
into each cell and press return to get the AM or PM to
appear in the cell. I want to speed up this process so I
don't have to enter each cell one by one. Thanks.

Maria,

Quickest way I can think of is to enter a 1 in another cell.
Copy that cell to the clipboard(Ctrl-C)
Select all of your time cells
Go to Edit>PasteSpecial
In the Operation section, select the Multiply button
OK
Then re-format the selection as time.
