formatting a field

Hi

I need to format a field from a currency field ie. £25.00 to the following
format.

00000000.00 ie 00000025.00 in the above example, I have tried to use the
format in vba in the after update field but its not working!

In the "Format" option in the properties window type 00000000.00

Use the Format function:

?Format("£25.00","00000000.00")
00000025.00

or in a query:

SELECT Format([MyField],"00000000.00") AS Expr1
FROM Table1;
