Formatting after copying from PDF to Word

I have copied a narrow column of text from a PDF document into Word. It
retains the same format when copied so that even though I change the text
size it retains the narrow format, ie only takes up half the width of the
page. Is there anyway to format it so it would appear as though it had been
created in Word, justified etc ?

Thanks in advance

It probably has a paragraph mark or line break at the end of each line. Turn
on nonprinting characters, using the ¶ toggle button. If that's it, see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/CleanWebText.htm for the procedure to
remove them.

Otherwise, look at Format > Paragraph to see if there are indents.
