Formatting cells

Is there a way to format cells, so that only numbers can be entered, i.e. no letters?

You can apply data validation to a cell and specific whole number or decimal specific numbers. Options are under Data menu, validation...

Hi,

Data Validation is a very nifty feature but it has one drawback, at least, -
if you copy and paste on a range that has DV you loose the DV and anything
can be pasted. One workaround is a macro but I don't know apple script so I
can't help you.
