Formatting changes from XL2K to XP?

I burned my spreadsheet, created in XL2k on a Win2k system, to a CD. A
coworker opened the file on her machine, XLXP with WinXP. The colors were
gone, and there were little triangles in the corners of the cells.

Is this something I need to take care of on my end to make this file more
compatable with other systems? Or is it a setting on her machine? Or is
this just the way it is?

If the little triangles are in the upper right corner (and are red), then they
could be comments (that you don't show, but she does (tools|options|View
tab|comments section).

If the little triangles are in the upper left corner, then this is a new feature
added with xl2002. xl2002 add some common error checking--numbers stored as
text, inconsistent formulas (and more).

She can turn it off in xl2002 by Tools|Options|Error Checking Tab.

I don't have a guess why the colors disappeared, though.
