How do I format cells for dates so that when I type 3-11
it returns "Tue 11-Mar-04"?

Hi Connie!

Use custom format:

ddd dd-mmm-yy

But you'll need a formula to get it to show Tue 11-Mar-2004 because
it's a Thursday <vbg>
