When I try to format my documents (e.g. change alignment, change font, etc.),
the new formatting doesn't show on the screen until I click somewhere else.
It used to show as I did it.
Also, sometimes the program doesn't allow me to make changes to margins or
tabs directly on the ruler. It's acting very inconsistent.
I appreciate any suggestions--
