Using Excel 2000 SP3
When importing data from Crystal Reports into Excel, our
staff noticed problems sorting by date in Excel.
We determined that Excel was not recognizing the field as
a date, so we went into Cell Formatting and selected the
date format that we wanted. This still did not sort
correctly by date.
The only way we have been able to get it to convert to the
proper date format is to double-click the date fields cell
by cell which is unreasonable for 20,000 lines of data.
Does anyone know of a fix for this issue?
