Formatting Graphs

I am attempting to set up a series of graphs to use in Lab exercises, I can
have PowerPoint make the graph but when I try to re-size the rows the size
symbol comes up, the parallel lines and the change is ghosted in but it snaps
back to the original size. Also when I try to re-size the entire graph with
the doubleended arrows it just snaps back to the original size. I tried to
import a Excell graph but it lost the formatting upon import.

Karl,

There is a bunch of cans of worms here. First, I don't follow the bit about
the size symbols come up, and so on. But my guesses are:

1. You may have snap to grid turn on. That is, you drag something, think it
will shift, and it jumps back to where it came from. Go to View| Grids and
Guides| and see if it is turned off.
2. as for importing an Excel graph, do yourself a favour. Copy it in Excel
and Paste Link it (Edit| Paste Special| Paste link).

In the absence of more data, or the null hypothesis being valid (and a
science teacher should know what a null hypothesis is <g>, even though is
not applicable here).... Does that help or please send more information.
