formatting of text displayed in combo box

Hello,

I have a form with a combo box which displays an account number. This is a
text field (which I need to display exactly as it is entered eg with caps on
the individual characters in caps). The issue is that when I enter for
example AAbbcc, and tab off the combo box, it converts this to Aabbcc. The
table underneath where the original data is stored will usually have the
correct version, but the users need to be able to copy and paste from the
combo box to the other packages they use which are case sensitive.

Also I have it set so if you double click on the combo box it goes to
another form displaying the acount information. When you double click on the
combo box and go to the other form and then close that form, the value is
displayed correctly even when you tab off the combo box.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is causing it to change the
formatting sometimes and not other times?
