formatting palette disappeared off the edge of the screen

My formatting palette has disappeared off the right edge of the
monitor. I may have dragged it too far to get it out of the way.....

If I check and uncheck view/formatting palette I can see a slight dark
jiggle or flash at the edge of the screen where it should be, so it is
probably there, but I can't quite grab it with the mouse.

I'm using an Intel iMac, OS 10.4.8, and Word 2003 11.4

One option is to change your screen resolution until you can see the
palette, move the palette somewhere sensible, then return the
resolution to what it should be.

Search this group for other possibile solutions (involving coding/
macros).

I forgot to mention that I already tried changing to screen
resolution, as well as magnifying and left/right scrolling, none of
which worked.

I don't know what you mean about coding/macros - I did search the
group for formatting palette, disappear, move - can't remember exactly
what, but I didn't have any luck.
