I have a report that uses 8 text boxes. The boxes are all aligned in a
single row. The boxes are of various lengths but they are all the same
height of .375. Each box has a border of 1pt and the border color is black.
When the report is generated it looks like a table from MS Word.
Here is where i am having issues, and I don't know how to fix it or if it
can even be done. Two of the fields vary in the amount of text, meaning
that some of the records have too much text in the field for the size of the
box. I set the properties to allow the boxes to grow as needed. Works
great! Infortunately the remaing fields in the respective records don't
grow to the same size as the larger fields. It makes the report look a
little klunky.
Is there a way to fix this? I have changed the settings on all the fields
but they don't grow unless the amount of information requires it to do so.
Maybe there's a work-a-round for this, but I am not too swift in
programming. Slowwwwwly trying to learn. Let me rephase that. Trying to
learn, but it is going slowwwwly.....
Thank you.
