Formatting text at the end of a document,

R

Robert D

Here are the steps that lead to basic question...

I open a new document, type some text in it, close the
document and program.

Next I open the documet just created. I can see the text
that I just created and...just after the last sentence
there are multiple line that show the formatting used in
the document i.e. font formats, paragraph formatting etc...

It is a bit like toggleing the backwards "P" to show where
paragraphs end a carrage returns exist.

Is there a shortcut that turns on this texts?? What do you
think is going on???

Thanks in advance...

Robert

In the File Open dialog, change the "Files of type" setting from "Recover
Text from Any File" to "All Word Documents."
