Formatting Word document in Mac

N

Version: 2008 I created a word document that I sent to someone. When I he returned it with corrections the document was reformatted, and I can't get it back in the original format. The margins are all off. When I try to change the margins under format, document, nothing changes. It appears the ruler on the top of the page has moved to the left, and I can't move it. So, the right hand margin looks like it is 2 inches. What can I do?

Resolve all the changes.

Word is making room to display the thought balloons at the right side of the
page.

If you turn off "Use Balloons" in the Word Track Changes Preferences, the
document will come back into shape (but you won't have arrows pointing to
the changes...)

Cheers
