formatting worksheet names in a folder

If I have a list of workbooks within a folder, is there any way to highlight
a name or add color to a name so that it stands out quickly from the rest of
the list?

You could make the workbook a compressed file which would change the color to
Blue.

Right-click>Properties>General Tab>Advanced.
