A couple questions; why is it when I copy and paste text (the orginal size
for example is 10 pt) I paste it and it becomes 14pt. What can I do to avoid
this?

Where is there a good power point resource for tips and tricks?

This is a great resource for all you PowerPoint needs. Have you tried Paste
Special and Formatted Text when you paste your text?

If you paste special as formatted (or unformatted) text and
youre not in a placeholder the text will be formatted as the default for
text boxes. (you can change this default) If you paste special html the text
will retain its size--
Hope that helps

Thanks for the answers. very helpfull. More questions for you.

Lets say you have text in the third level of the bullet system. You master
page is formated for the third level to be 14 and but the third level bullet
type is 18, it is changed to 14 and it changes by it self back to 18pt.

Another problem I am having on the same lines. I change a test box type make
18 from 14 to fit in a text box. On the screen it is 18 when I print it is
14.

To change the default text size set a text box to the size etc you want as
default and Right click on the box - choose set autoshape defaults

Third level text should always follow the size set on the master so I dont
know what youre doing wrong email me a copy if you like codepeople AT aol.com
